Leap Motion Support

Leap motion is a device that captures the motions of your hands.

I want my avatar to walk around tying its best to mimic my hand movements. Or at least disembodied hands to fondle subjects/co-workers with while in first person view.

Another idea is the leap motion could be used alter existing animation with subjects to varying degrees. Should as only altering finger animations.

The problem I have with that is how it would look if the  player character is of diferent height or even body type than the real player. It would likely result in a lot of strange and disturbing glitches.

The device is a little gray brick that goes on your desk and only cares about the movement of your hands. You can mount the Leap Motion to your VR headset but it still only cares about the movement of your hands.

Also, the real player can alter the height of the player character, which is a moot point though because the device only cares about the movement of your hands. And unless the real player is missing a finger, there is no body type issues to worry about. Because again, the device only cares about the movement of your hands.

The device only cares about the movement of your hands. You height or body type makes no difference.

Hand tracking would be cool. I'm not a huge fan of the leap motion since it can only track your hands when they're in front of your face (Noitom's Hi5 looks like it might be closer to what I'm looking for), but any hand-tracking interface, in the future, would be welcome (realistically, probably after VR is implemented).
